TRÄNCEPARÊNTE analyzes how ambient sounds influence and shape behavior in public and commercial spaces. By replacing sound typologies designed for consumption with a sonic presence of a different nature, physical and spatial perception is radically altered. In TRÄNCEPARÊNTE , the acoustic environment is that of the dancefloor: a hypnotic and anonymous sound, intended to move bodies and generate interactions between the human and the digital, inherent to electronic sound.

The work takes the form of a transparent chair, evoking the generic aesthetics of stock imagery as the ultimate symbol of a consumable visual experience. The union of chair and speaker creates a tension between sitting and dancing, opposing gestures that become a metaphor for the relationship with sound diffusion systems in dancefloor-oriented contexts, where the body positions itself directly in front of the sound source.
